VULCANO
Is the first island that you can meet coming from Milazzo and already near the port, it can impress you by the beauty of the place and by the acrid smell of sulphur which fills up the air. In the Greek mythology it was the Hephaestus’ forge, the God of fire, but nowadays its volcanic activity is only represented by the various fumaroles the Great Crater emits. |
